Partner CERTH, namely the AMU of CERTH/ITI, successfully co-organized and participated in the “ICT Meets the Arts: The digital event that brings the Arts and Technology together” digital conference on 24 February 2021.

Part of its intervention focussed on iPRODUCE, where it demonstrated the Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing technologies in the Service of Cultural Heritage & Arts, as well as its latest 3D printed prototypes and the use cases from the iPRODUCE project. Among them, the iPRODUCE OpIS platform was briefly presented for its contribution to the Creative Industry, with emphasis on crucial key points, such as the AR/VR toolkit, Ricardian Toolkit, and others.

The researchers Dr. Eleftheria-Maria Pechlivani and Dr. Dimosthenis Ioannidis showcased the “3D Printing, Virtual and Augmented Reality in the Service of Cultural Heritage & Arts” in the Digital Conference to the world of Theatre & Museums, Music & Cinema and all types of Fine Arts, while it also gave the participants the opportunity to get in touch with them through the B2B meetings, organized on the 25th of February for further networking.

The Digital Conference had more than 140 participants, mainly from Europe and the USA.
