Participants in the hackathon competition will join individually or in teams of up to 3 people, already established before the hackathon starts. The challenge of the hackathon will be for the participants to develop a product idea by creating their own user journey and using as many of the OpIS tools as possible to develop their product. Participants can develop any type of idea/ solution, focusing on any type of sector, regardless of being physically at a cMDF or being fully online.

Simultaneously, as product ideas are being developed, participants will be encouraged to identify bugs or define improvements, which will count towards the final selection of the winners.

General format and procedures

The hackathon will be a hybrid event, open to participants from any EU Member State and any H2020 Associated Countries. The participants can participate either in-person at one of the cMDF locations or fully online. Specific participation details in the boxes below.

During your participation in the Hackathon you will be encouraged to use the selected OpIS Platform tools in order to help us validate them. Note: You will not be able to create a design from scratch using only the iPRODUCE tools. Any type of 2D or 3D modelling to develop your idea must be done using your own software. Alternatively, you can use any type of computer-made drawing (use any software you want) or even a just handmade drawing of your idea.
